Edge 540 V3.2 1880mm (74") Wingspan from Black Horse - Balsa Wood ARF - BHM1011-001
Version Info: This is the version 2 of the Edge 540 V3. Several upgrades include a striking new paint scheme, carbon fiber landing gear, carbon fiber wing spar and fiberglass carbon plywood has been applied throughout the entire model's structure.
The Zivko Edge 540 manufactured by Zivko Aeronautics is a highly aerobatic aircraft. Capable of a 420 degree per second roll rate and a 3,700 foot per minute climb rate, it has been flown to victory on the international Unlimited aerobatics circuit several times since the mid-1990s. A tandem-seat version is sold as the Edge 540T.
The Zivko Edge 540 is the most common aircraft used in the Red Bull Air Race World Series.
Our model is scaled to approximately 1:5 and attention has been given to providing a realistic appearance with outstanding flight characteristics. The model was designed for electric power but can also be flown using a matched pair of internal combustion engines of about 35-38cc displacement.

Black Horse ARF models are constructed out of balsa wood and plywood. These are not foam models. The assembly of balsa wood ARF aircraft requires basic model building skills including the installation of servos, ESC, and motor (or gas engine).
